Bridal Fair Cakes
On Sunday the craziness finally died down! I have been planning for my first bridal fair for about 5 months now. WOW! It was such a wonderful experience. I met some amazing vendors and loved seeing all things wedding! I'm already planning for next year!
My edible Stargazer Lily was the highlight of the booth :)
Book Baby Shower
These "books" were a hit! The baby's name has been kept a secret...so we changed the name of the author to baby's name as a game at the shower. Such a fun idea!
Black and White Buttercream
No fondant for this bride! She loves the "imperfections" of buttercream. She added the jewels at the front a couple days before and I think it was the pefect touch.
Monkey 1st Birthday
One very lucky little boy got to enjoy this monkey birthday cake....with a monkey face smash cake all to himself!
Non-Smoking?
To celebrate respiratory therapist week, an office manager came to me with a fun idea. The "smoking" cupcakes were filled with green colored bavarian cream, to represent unhealthy smoker lungs....the "non-smoking" were filled with yummy pink raspberry, to represent healthy lungs. What a fun idea!
Retiring Accountant
A group of firemen wanted to do a cake for their account to say thank you. She worked with them for over 30 years, and they wanted something special. She was so happy, she took the calculator home!
Twilight
This was the centerpiece for a Twilight movie marathon. This group was counting down the days until the final movie with a private veiwing party the weekend before!
Jack Skelington
I'm a huge fan of Nightmare Before Christmas, so these were so exciting to make! They were part of a local bake sale to raise money for a Youth Volunteer program. I was told they were the first items to sell out!
Hulk Cake
That giant hand was quite the chanllenge to get just right.....but I think I did it! Birthday boy was happy, so I'm happy!
